Mike Waters

Mike, a native of Alton, IL has been a part of the local music scene for over 25 years, playing and enjoying many styles of music. Mike comes from a musical family which includes Tom, a piano playing psychologist from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and twin brother Marc, a drummer/percussionist.

In his youth, Mike and brother Marc gave their family a daily dose of rock n’ roll, jamming in their basement to the strains of Deep Purple and various progressive rock bands of the early 70’s. Later Mike began honing his skills around St. Louis with various bands like Rapid Transit, The Bonedaddy’s, The Buzztones, Lamina and The Vipers among others. Mike also keeps himself busy with local acoustic trio, The Wadlow’s.

During daylight hours, Mike works in the romantic world of aviation, repairing aircraft instruments and electronic accessories for corporate jets.
